Valley Landscape takes the environment and our impact on it very seriously.
We recognize that your landscaping not only needs to meet guidelines set
locally and by the state, but how we impact the environment can affect your
company and its image within the community. That's why all of our
services are designed with local environmental concerns in mind.
Noise
By working closely within community and residential guidelines, our team ensures that noise -- particularly the noise of blowers -- won't be an issue. In fact, we give our clients the option of whether or not to use blowers on their properties. If requested, we will expand sweeping or raking activities in lieu of blower use.
Water usage, particularly in the Bay area, is always a top concern for our clients. We use state-of-the-art techniques and the best
products available in our efforts to conserve the greatest amount
of water possible. This is particularly important when managing
or upgrading a water irrigation system.
Air Pollution
As part of the "Spare the Air program," sponsored by the
Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Valley Landscape
is part of a nationwide effort to help reduce air pollution.
On days when smog levels are expected to violate state and
federal health standards, residents are asked to refrain from
activities that cause pollution.
In association with participating clients, we will refrain from using power equipment on designated Spare the Air days. Blowing activities will be substituted with raking and sweeping activities and mowing or trimming activities will be rescheduled.
